Feeling our best starts from within, and small reminders of the things you feel grateful for will improve your mental state. “List three things for which you feel grateful every day,” says Dr. Gail Saltz, associate professor of psychiatry at The New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell School of Medicine.

“They can be large (my children) or small (a delicious cup of tea), but bringing awareness of gratitude to your life boosts your mood and increases your life perspective which reduces anxiety.” For an added bonus, share your gratitude on social media.
